Who We Are

Westin Archaeology is a small, woman-owned archaeological consulting firm specializing in cultural resource management and regulatory compliance, with a particular emphasis on small-scale archaeological investigations. The firm operates as a streamlined, single-office organization located in Stone Ridge, New York. Despite its small size, Westin Archaeology maintains a flexible operational structure that allows it to scale resources as needed through a network of vetted, SOI-qualified archaeological professionals.

The firm was established in 2026 by Principal Archaeologist Tory Harding, M.A., RPA. After working in the industry for over 15 years and studying archaeology for over 20 years, Tory created Westin Archaeology to assist clients, while protecting and studying cultural resources. In this capacity, she is responsible for organizational oversight, client coordination, project management, and technical execution. As a single-principal firm, lines of communication are direct and efficient, with all project-related correspondence, decision-making, and deliverables managed by the Principal Archaeologist.
